TRANSFER OF CRYOPRESERVED EMBRYOS
Preparation for the transfer of cryopreserved embryos does not take much time. Embryo transfer is performed in a manipulation room. The procedure lasts no more than 15 minutes and does not require anesthesia. We recommend a half-hour rest in a day-patient ward after the procedure. After the transfer of thawed embryos, support therapy is prescribed for 14 days until the performing the hCG blood test. When pregnancy occurs, therapy continues until 7-8 weeks of pregnancy.

- Embryo transfer in the natural cycle IVF is possible only if woman has ovulatory menstrual cycle. In this case, the use of medicines is minimal, and this fact is always perceived by patients positively. Using ultrasound, a physician assesses the growth of the follicle and endometrial changes; hormone tests can identify the exact time of ovulation. Embryo transfer performed on the 2nd-5th day after ovulation, depending on the stage of embryo development.
- Embryo transfer with underlying hormone replacement therapy is used in case of anovulation, chronic endometritis and other reproductive problems. In order to prepare the endometrium, estrogen preparations (female sex hormones) are prescribed on the 2nd-5th day of menstrual cycle. When the endometrium has a certain thickness and structure, progesterone preparations are added to the therapy; progesterone is a hormone that prepares the endometrium for implantationof an embryo. After 2-4 days of progesterone therapy, transfer of cryopreserved embryos is performed.
